XEQT extends its opening gain to 2.66% at midday as U.S. technology and broad sleeve strength drive the advance
XEQT has been trading at $45.99, up 2.66% since Friday's close, and the advance has broadened and deepened since the early morning snapshot. Reopening after the Civic Holiday, the fund is absorbing moves from markets that traded while the TSX was closed, and the gap-up has only grown through the morning session. The U.S. sleeve is the dominant force, contributing roughly 1.39 percentage points to XEQT's gain, with technology accounting for the largest share of that lift. All four regional sleeves are advancing, with emerging markets also registering a strong session alongside Canada and international developed markets.
